Chateau Musar's winery is located a distance of over two and a half hours by car from the vineyards in the Bekaa Valley. In 1930, when Gaston Hochar started producing wine, the exact borders of Lebanon had not yet been determined. Therefore, he made sure that his winery was situated within the newly defined boundaries of the country.
